Whatever comes to mind

I usually go with whatever comes to mind in everyday life. The revision process is the same way. When I first write a paper I will combine my research with my own personal thoughts. The first time through I get everything I need and basically have it listed throughout the paragraphs. When I revise is when everything tends to come together. I go over every sentence and change it so it fits to the topic. Mainly I'll add whatever comes to mind about the topic that can make the paper better off in the long run. How boring would something be if you did not add your own personal ideas into into work. I think I would personally fall asleep if something was not written with personality added to it.
