They say apply, I say revise
My blogging research essay is decent, but it needs plenty of revising before I can finish it. The book, "They say I say" by Gerald Graff and Cathy Birkenstein will be extremely useful in the revision of the essay. The book reveals many different applications of writing that can be useful in any document. It lists sentence structure, how to separate what you want to say from what others have to say, and it gives templates to use as examples when piecing a sentence together. The information given in this book will help me structure good sentences by tying together what others have o say with what I have to say to form a good thesis. With a good thesis, I can have a much more extensive research paper and a stronger main point. In addition, I can move along from one sentence to another using transitions to tie the sentences together. Overall "They say I say" is an extremely useful resource to apply to the revision of my research essay.
