Narratives are key

My research paper is centered around Kevin Seifert's corporate style blog on the NFC North. I have had some trouble with the thesis throughout the researching process. By using Jill Walker Rettberg's book "blogging", I have found a method to approach the thesis. In chapter 5 Rettberg covers narrative blogs. The thesis revealed itself after reviewing the information on narratives. A narrative is an arc of events, through a blog, that can be unpredictable and leave the reader with the question, "what will happen next?" Seifert's identity is the unpredictability and suspense of the NFL. He states how the teams perform and how the health of the players can change a teams gameplan. My thesis is derived from the identity given by Seifert. If not for the relationship between Rettburg's book and blogs, I may not have had a thesis.
