And another essay

Well I am about ready to start on essay 2 once I can find a blog. I like the new prompt because I think finding identity of another blog online is easier than trying to find my own identity. Most of my entries up to this point have only answered the questions and not given any personality. What I think West is trying to say in her article is how incorporating blogging into a class can change how the students view the course and it makes it easier to complete their work. They can give their own personal views on the material. I would have loved to use blogging in my high school courses. I would be able to turn the usual boring english class into something fun and interesting. Finding something fun and interesting in blogger identity would be a good start for essay 2. When I start to research and write my essay, I will reflect on West's article to have a better view on finding identity. Overall, West's article will make essay 2 a breeze because it will help me stay on topic and give an extra opinion on blogger identity and how it van differ.

  1. I'm glad the new options give you something you can work with. :) My goal is all about giving you opportunities to engage in ways that really help you learn--not be frustrated and bored.

Your plan makes sense and I look forward to seeing where you go with it. You can also look at the same blog that you looked at in the first essay if you can apply West's framework in the way she did.

As a sidenote, the blog archive menu on the right side looks funky. Can you mess with the layout so people can use it as a navigation tool that is readable?
